The Man Who Moves a Mountain Begins by Carrying Away Small Stones

Holidays are tough. In fact, any family get together is tough when the group pictures are smaller than they were a year before. I don't think it necessarily gets any easier; I think we just learn how to cope better and it helps when you have a strong support system going through the same struggles as you are. Not everybody has that strong support system though and for those who don't, each day can seem impossible to get through. Often times we wish that when something bad happens we can find a way to quickly get back to our "new normal". But it doesn't always work out that way and we have to then start by taking small steps and focusing on getting through one day at a time. After a while you get to a point where the good days begin to outnumber the bad and suddenly family get togethers aren't filled with regret and sorrow, but instead they're filled with cherished memories. Take small steps; carry away small stones; and together we can move mountains.
